Pinch Point Bar
Prying & Lifting
- Used to lift or shift heavy objects that are difficult to move by hand.
-
Common for:
- Machinery
- Concrete slabs
- Large timbers
- Boulders
- The long bar gives mechanical leverage, letting one person move objects that would normally require multiple people.
Demolition
-
The pointed end can be driven into:
- Concrete
- Asphalt
- Clay
- Packed soil
- Rock
- Workers use it to break up material before removing it or to start cracks in concrete.
Alignment (Steel Work)
- In construction and steel erection it's often called a line-up bar.
- The tapered end helps align bolt holes in steel beams or plates so bolts can slide through easily.
- This is critical during structural steel assembly.
Landscaping
Very useful for outdoor work:
- Digging through hard or rocky soil
- Cutting roots
- Prying out stumps
- Moving landscape rock
